Baigong Pipes

The Baigong Pipes are, as the name suggests, a number of pipes discovered in a cave at the foot of Mount Baigong in China's Qinghai Province. The cave, which may or may not be a natural formation, contains more than a dozen pipes ranging in diameter from 10 to 40 cm. The pipes show fairly advanced fixing techniques and run variously along the length of the cave, into the mountain, and into the ground beneath the cave. Further pipes can be found scattered on the shore of nearby Lake Tosun as well as in and under the lake itself. The pipes are considered to be an example of an OOPArt (out of place artifact).
